On 1 July 2014, the JMEWS Editorial Office moved from Yale University to Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where the Editors will be responsible for producing Volumes 11-14 of JMEWS (2015-2018). Beginning with Vol. 11 (2015), the Journal of Middle East Women’s Studies will be published by Duke University Press Journals. Beginning 1 August 2014, Duke University Press will manage AMEWS memberships and subscriptions to JMEWS.
The Editors are miriam cooke (Duke, Asian and Middle Eastern Studies), Banu Gökarıksel (University of North Carolina, Geography), and Frances S. Hasso (Duke, Women’s Studies and Sociology). The Managing Editor is Tamar Shirinian (Duke), an advanced Ph.D. student in Cultural Anthropology who is also completing a Graduate Certificate in Feminist Studies.
